October 15, 2019 declared “Deborah Allen Day” in Memphis, Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music veteran Deborah Allen will make an appearance on the hit television show Larry’s Country Diner airing Thursday, October 31st at 8/7c and then again on Saturday, November 2nd at 11/10c. Viewers will get to see live performances of Deborah Allen performing a couple of her biggest hits including “Rock Me” and “Baby I Lied,” along with “Hurt Me Bad In A Real Good Way,” which was written by Deborah and recorded by Patty Loveless.

“Good times are always had at Larry’s Country Diner and I’ve been a huge fan for a long time,” says Allen. “It felt great to be on the Diner set with Larry and all the amazing cast! They made me feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back for another heapin’ helpin’ of their genuine down home love and laughter.”

On October 15th, Allen was presented with a resolution from Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland and the Memphis City Council for her contribution to country music as part of her 40th anniversary in the music industry. During the presentation during the city council meeting, Deborah was surprised by an announcement from Chairman Kemp Conrad that October 15, 2019 was officially declared “Deborah Allen Day” in Memphis, Tennessee.
